The Foundation for Independent Living is a private, not-for-profit, community-based independent residential living program for adults with learning disabilities. The program is located in beautiful South Florida and is integrated into a modern, apartment complex. The program supports all aspects of adult life: coaching and support toward mastery of daily living skills, vocational, recreational, social, and community living skills.

The "Foundation for Independent Living Inc." serves individuals eighteen (18) years of age and older with intellectual disadvantages who are capable of functioning productively with professional assistance and guidance.It is the purpose of this Foundation to provide an opportunity for said individuals to live apart from their families thus encouraging them to strive to attain their highest level of independence. These opportunities will be provided by programmatically providing a community based environment designed to enhance the opportunities for growth and maximizing of the individual's strengths. The Foundation was created in effort to assist each individual in living as normal a lifestyle as possible.
